Services available to our members

Services available to HFwME members include:

Home Support

Our home support service is currently being developed. Members will be able to receive home visits or access support online (email).

Scooter hire

The group has a mobility scooter available for hire to members for a small fee, or you can come along to try it for a short while. Unfortunately the group's second scooter has broken down.

Library

The group has a pool of books about ME/CFS etc which are available for members to borrow free of charge (including postage), as well as DVDs and CDs, including relaxation CDs.

Telephone Support

One of our members is a qualified counsellor and has generously offered to provide telephone support to other members about personal and emotional issues arising from ME/CFS.

Guide to Facilities and Resources

A member has written a guide to benefits and services available to people with disabilities, particularly ME and made it available at very low cost. Feedback has been very positive.

Yahoo discussion group

There is a Yahoo group with a mailing list for people with CFS/ME in Hampshire.

Facebook group

If you're a Facebook member please join the Hampshire Friends with M.E. Facebook group.
